Job 1: assess situations as they really are. This means recognising that I’m powerless directly over everything except my beliefs, thinking, and behaviour. Changed behaviour may have an indirect impact on ‘people, places, and things’, but the effect itself is out of my control. It also means understanding the spiritual context: everything is in God’s good hands, and all I need to do is do my part and trust.
Job 2: get better at performing whatever tasks are allocated to me by God.
