Sure, I feel that sometimes. Mostly, not. Mostly I’m aware of what’s going on around me or within me or what I’ve got to do today.
I can’t make myself feel the presence of God, and, if I don’t feel it, I don’t need to feel guilty or try to fix it.
What I do is stick to the disciplines of someone who has made a decision to obey God.
That keeps me in fit spiritual condition, which is measured by my actions not my feelings.
The feelings are an occasional bonus.
