The only reason I react the way I react is that I want things to be different. Once this has been discovered once, it is the case with all resentment for ever. The problem therefore is not the situation but my imperiousness. I haven’t analysed a resentment in years, because I already know the answer. They’re all the same. There’s only one resentment.
