“If the problems I have to face seem beyond my endurance, I will not explain them to God; He already knows. I will not tell Him what I expect Him to do about my difficulties; He knows what is best for me.” (ODAT, 22 January)
When I’m out of kilter, the first thing to go is my discernment. The thing that has gone wrong cannot right itself.
The job is to go straight to God to be led out of it.
The leading out takes the form of action. Thought trails lamentably behind.
