The signs that I’m falling into the above bad habits:
Gloom, dread, cynicism—particularly when waking up in the morning—touchiness, thinking about other people, ‘acting out’ in other ways, and finding myself engaged in self-justification.
The answer is always more programme. If I’m doing that, and it’s not apparently working, patience is first of all necessary, plus the recognition that my notion of ‘enough’ is not the same as God’s.
