Yes, it’s up to me to put into practice the programme in every attitude, in all my thoughts, in all my words, in all my actions.
Al-Anon really does have the magic formula, but I am not the object of Al-Anon, with Al-Anon, as it were, reciting an incantation over me.
Al-Anon is the incantation I recite over my life, and, as if my magic, my life does indeed transform.
