Humility, in other words, is accuracy of perception of oneself.
The false perception has me at the centre, with significance diminishing as distance increases.
The false perception has me as victim, controller, (s)mother-er, and rescue-r/ee.
The false perception has me as the recipient of God’s service.
The true perception has God at the centre, with everyone having equal shares of significance.
The true perception has me as independent operator, neither dependent nor depended upon inappropriately.
The true perception has God as the recipient of my service.
