“May I always keep in the forefront of my mind that I am not all-wise and all-powerful. Only God is that—and it is on Him that I must rely.” (ODAT, 16 April)
This means I do not know what is going on.
That means my upset is based on false premises.
That means, also, that I do not know what to do.
And that I cannot work out what to do based on what I think is going on.
I have to bypass that entirely and go straight to God, asking for the right thought and action.
I must also then assume that neither the thought nor the action will make sense.
These will not interlock with my existing, flawed understanding.
And if they do, they’re probably not from God.
