I use a spreadsheet, which helps a lot for filling in.
I cover the past day, looking at (a) my material condition and (b) my internal, spiritual condition. The page 67 questions cover external situations that have broken down or where my behaviour is wrong or less than ideal. The resentment / fear / upset section covers my internal, spiritual condition. Any emotional disturbance counts, anything but peace.
I fill this in daily, in the morning. If something major happens during the day, I sometimes write it down, to clear it out of my mind.
My mind and conscience must remain clear at all times if I am to remain in conscious contact with God. I do not tolerate persistent disturbance, and, if my behaviour is bad, I face it. It may take a long time to correct both, but one has to start somewhere.

First column: Area
Here are the areas in my life (in alphabetical order):
Community—Exercise—Family—Food—Friends—God—Home—Meetings—Money—Office—Others in recovery—Projects—Service—Sex—Society—Spiritual practice—Sponsees—Spouse—Work
Here and throughout, I use the dropdown list function (right click, K) to access listed items. In this column, I input the relevant area or enter a couple of words to specify the situation or incident, as appropriate.
The list of areas is in any case useful so I can run through them to identify incidents where I behaved anything less than ideally. This ensure a comprehensive result.
