My own pain is created in my own mind, and thoughts leave not their source.
Resentment is the diversionary tactic: It weren't me; it woz 'im.
Until resentment is dealt with, once and for all, the real work does not even begin.
Anxiety, likewise: it's the blaming of woe on something beyond me or even on some aspect of me that is none of my business.
When I do what I should and am fully conscious that I am doing what I should, I am free and at peace:
"If I do what I should, I will be at peace with myself" (January 21, ODAT).
