Balls and cues

I try and observe everything going on in my life.

I predict all of the factors that might affect my life.

I take plenty of precautions; I tend to be very well prepared.

But then I let go absolutely and operate almost entirely on instinct.

That's riding the unicorn.

That's why nothing can be explained or argued.

Explanation is always post-rationalisation of what must be.

... if one will let what must be, be.

God is absolutely in charge of this whole simulation.

But the point of this simulation is that we have free choice.

I don't think we're part of an entirely deterministic system.

The billiard balls move in accordance with fixed laws.

But we have cues.

And so does God.
