Some groups have strict dress codes. There's an argument that this breaches Tradition III (no conformity required). However, there are lots of advantages, at least to encouraging people to dress appropriately.
A fair number of people in recovery are sex addicts or similar. There is a fair amount of inappropriate attire in meetings, particularly in online meetings (sitting there in underwear, vests, dressing-gowns, off-the-shoulder numbers, basically come-to-bed boudoir garb).
Having standards for attire in meetings is not just to protect attendees from unwanted display of other people's bodies: it also removes an opportunity for the individuals in question to act out in public.
