Thinking

I never put up with anything ...

... because the thing I think I have to put up with is always under my control.

How can that be the case?

The thing I think I have to put up with is actually what I'm thinking about the thing.

And I needn't put up with any particular thought.

If I do not like it, I can reject it.

It is the thought about the thing that is the real thing causing the problem.

Once I change the thought I'm thinking about the thing ...

... I can see whether the thing itself also needs changing.

Often it does not.
