When people in AA give a pitch, a chair, a talk, however you term it, it's not like the television: when you're sharing back, they're still in the room.
A good approach:
- Thank the speaker
- Maybe pick up on individual points and run with them
- Don't paraphrase what they said: you'll get it wrong
- Don't put them on a pedestal or gush
- Don't take pot-shots: take your powder and ignite it elsewhere.
