Do the Steps quickly or not at all.

Practically, this means 1–2 hours a day of step work, more if a person is not working that day, with practically no ceiling on the amount of daily step work, providing that the material is being assimilated, and the work is careful, diligent, and thorough.

It's rare for the process to be completed at all without this level of commitment.

Even if the process is ultimately completed, the ego has had such a lot of time to regroup that the individual is no better a condition at the end of it than they were at the beginning.

If you take five years to mow the lawn, you may see a lovely patch of even grass immediately in front of you, but the lawn behind you has up to five years of growth in it.
