Letting go

Letting go is not nice or gentle. It's not fluffy. It's not pastel-coloured. It's about radical renunciation of all ideas that stand in the way of peace, all beliefs shared with (most of) the world, and being willing to live a life that looks radically different from what others expect, what looks reasonable and rational, what one assumed, what was planned, what one hoped for, without any guarantee of outcomes. It's root-level dismissal of money, power, and prestige (amongst other things) as legitimate goals. There may be money, property, and prestige, but they'll be tools: they won't be me. It's about residing in a higher realm and visiting this one to do a job.
