I do not share about myself.
I share about the programme, and I use concise and factual examples from my life to illustrate my point. A little colour does not hurt, but the garishness of the paint should not distract from the portrait.
I attempt to avoid exaggeration, hyperbole, over-dramatisation, self-abasement, self-flagellation, false humility, overt bragging, subtle bragging, socioeconomic positioning, providing a running commentary on my life, and other manifestations of self.
In other words, I keep it simple.
