Independence doesn't work. There's no help there.
Dependence kinda works for a bit, but I never learn that way, and it bugs the hell out of the person I'm trying to get to take responsibility for me, as I'm infantilising myself and making them do the work.
Co-dependence. This is where I get into a deal where one person tries to get help from another but simultaneously obstructs, sufficiently to prevent progress, but not so much that the other person withdraws.
So what does help?
Cooperation.
Each person, with an established connection with a Higher Power, interacts with the other, with the Higher Power working through both to create a miraculous circuit.
