Take the mad mind to God
Lay it before His feet and say
'Look at the mess I've made of this. I can't do anything with it. You deal with it. In the meantime, give me useful things to do.
One, two, buckle my shoe, three, four, knock at the the door, five, six, pick up sticks ...'
And before you know it, something's changed and you realised you forgot to be mad
But this can't be done by taking a pipette and dropping a tincture of God onto the hot stone of the ego
If you do that, it'll sizzle and burn off
Instead, run with the hot stone and drop it into the ocean
Watch it fizz and bubble
And let the waters do for you what you cannot do for yourself
