To stay sober permanently, a couple of things are necessary:
- Work the Steps repeatedly
- Spend many hours a week helping other people work the Steps
But what about my life?
After Step Three, it no longer exists. Rights of disposition relinquished. We get given back the life God has in store for us. But it's not ours. Why is this OK? Because what God has in store is better than anything we could plan for ourselves.
