What we need to know about Cookie Monster:
His catch phrase is 'Me Want Cookie!'
His life is defined by what he wants.
When he gets the cookie, he disintegrates it.
The cookie then no longer exists.
He has no means of ingesting the cookie.
He also has no digestive system to digest the cookie.
He just creates a crumby mess.
He is momentarily satisfied by the charade of eating.
But 'eating' does not lastingly satisfy the desire.
He then needs another cookie.
He is only a 'Me'.
'Me' is either the object of attention ...
... Or the object of an action by another.
He thinks he is in control.
But he is controlled by the cookie.
He has no 'I'.
He does not know who he is.
