Sometimes I feel overwhelmed or driven or paralysed. I do not have power.
But I always have the power to ask God for the power. I can ask for very small things: 'God, give me the power to walk across the room and turn the radio on!' 'God, give me the power to leave the house and walk around the block!' 'God, give me one small thing to do and the power to do it!'
Whatever else is stripped away, consciousness always remains, and will always remains, if only the will to appeal to God.
