Twenty-four hours a day

"Faith has to work twenty-four hours a day in and through us, or we perish." (Page 16, Alcoholics Anonymous)
To me, this means not just trusting that everything is OK and I'm OK but having my life based on the relationship with God: What does God want me to do today? Where does God want me to go today? What does God want me to say, to whom?

Service is not something I do as a decoration around the edges of 'my' life but is the life I have given to God, and God has given back to me.

It's impossible not to be in the cockpit: God can't fly the plane for me. But it's not my plane, and there is a mission. The reason everything is OK and I'm OK is because I'm on the mission. That's the deal.
