When an opportunity for usefulness arises, and I think I do not have time, before I say no, I should ask myself whether there is any time being wasted or used inefficiently. Maybe the task can be done in time that would otherwise be wasted or used inefficiently.
It’s only through a degree of stress on the system that I am forced to become more efficient, to cut out the dissipation in my life.
As soon as I say no to opportunities for usefulness because I think I do not have time, yet I am spilling time fruitlessly, I stop growing.
