Why?

“It is difficult to search out why I had this or that impulse, and why I acted upon it.” (ODAT, 9 June)

I don’t know. I think it’s usually pretty simple, at least for me. I’m either frightened or grasping.

The fear can be dropped because my OK-ness in any situation depends on my decision to reconcile myself to reality, not on the situation.

The grasping can be dropped, because I don’t need anything in particular to be OK, for the same reason.
