The comedian Tommy Cooper started out as a magician, but things kept going wrong, and people would laugh at him, so he decided he’d just be a comedian instead, a comedian for whom everything goes wrong. It worked.

Most ‘removal’ of shortcomings involves a restructuring of how I live so that the assets are capitalised on and the defects are either capitalised on or worked around.

I don’t change. How I live changes. I haven’t changed one bit.
