When I ask God for guidance, I don’t expect an instant reply. If I’m asking what to do next, I need an instant reply, and I’ll get one then. If I have a more general question or am out of whack spiritually, the answers come slowly, usually bit by bit.
It’s like sending out a thousand ants, and they come back one by one, in their own time, with a leaf or twig.
My job is then to pay attention generally for the rest of the day.
