When I flip-flop between firm resolve on a matter and caving to appetite, impulse, or temptation, I can fear that I am irredeemable.
What does one do then?
Go to God and ask for help.
Someone asked his sponsor, “Can’t you give me something else, something more concrete?”
The sponsor said: “There is nothing else.”
