I need a God who can do anything, solve any problem.
I need a God who is all-powerful.
I tried having vague notions of spirit or the AA group or AA as a whole as a Higher Power, but I found myself either drunk or frightened, because I knew these were not all-powerful.
Once I recognised God as all-powerful, my problems were solved.
