Similarly, in recovery, I can’t get anyone to act a certain way.
I also can’t get anyone to see anything.
Once I’ve explained it once, they have the information—if they want it—and that’s the end of it.
I do not need to spend time wracking my brains, working out how to post an elephant through a letterbox.
Now, I leave it outside their front door—duly labelled—knock, and vamoose.
How they get it in the house is up to them.
