I might look at childhood, circumstances, events, and influences and attribute my current state to them.
However, whilst they might tell me how I became ‘like this’, they do not tell me why I am still ‘like this’.
The reason I am still ‘like this’ is because I permit my character defects.
God’s power is infinite, and I’m the only person standing in the way of improvement.
