“Truth heals the body, purifies the soul … There can be nothing in the soul that is not demonstrated sooner or later in the outer, and there can be nothing in the outer that does not find some correspondence in the inner.” (Emmet Fox)
Years ago, I thought I was not going to be OK.
I met someone for breakfast, and it was clear he knew he was going to be OK.
He was interesting but entirely lacking in curiosity about anyone he was with—particularly me.
Because I could see in him that he knew he was going to be OK, I knew I was going to be OK.
If he had told me I was going to be OK, I would not have believed him.
Because I was invisible to him, and he wanted nothing from me, his testimony was credible.
His soul was purified. He did not mind who he had breakfast with. All the same to him.
And I learned: all people, all the same to me.
The lessons from that breakfast continue to be learned.
