I find it a profitable exercise to list all of those things that bother me and to say to God, with each one, “Over to you now. There is nothing I can do about this. You’ll have to take care of it.” Then, as, under God’s supervision, I construct my list of things to do today, I trust that the mere performance of those tasks is absolutely sufficient for me to do my part. Whether things are going well or (apparently) badly, all I need to do is the next right thing.
