Not ‘a’ hand: The Hand. Just One. The just One.
The best way to surrender self-will is to make the decision
to want and will what God wants and wills.
Then the will is in alignment with God’s.
The point is not to be lacking in wanting and willing but
for such to be in harmony with reality:
Both reality and Reality.
