Mirror

When the sharing is good, great. When it’s not, I can try to understand what is going wrong, and use the complaining, the negativity, the blame, the self-justification as a mirror to spot my own complaining, negativity, blame, and self-justification. I’ve learned more about what I’m like by seeing my own character defects mirrored in others than by looking directly at myself.
