Darkness is very boring. One's own can be mesmerising. Others' is deadly.
It's mostly a nuisance, once one realises not to take it seriously.
The fact that light is being blocked is the real problem, and it is removing the barrier to light that is the only right objective and activity.
The darkness is really a distraction. It also enjoys the attention. If you stare into it for long enough, it grows eyes and stares back.
Instead: recognise that I am the one that is blocking the light by the notion of my existence as a separate entity, with an identity.
Identity is what creates the darkness.
No identity: no darkness. Just light.
